Hans Hansen (1884–1940) was a Danish silversmith who founded his own workshop in Kolding, Denmark, in 1906. Initially, the company focused on cutlery, but in the 1930s, they also began producing jewelry. His son, Karl Gustav Hansen, joined the company in 1932 and contributed with modern jewelry designs that became successful. The company became known for its minimalist and functionalist silverware and jewelry. In 1992, Hans Hansen merged with Georg Jensen.
