This unique ring, called Birth of a Pearl, is crafted in 18-karat gold and features a single greyish pearl set at the center. The design is distinctly asymmetrical, with one side of the pearl framed by highly polished gold in a smooth, curved form that wraps gently around the stone. The opposite side features a textured, brushed surface with a more sculptural expression. A contrast in finish and shape that enhances the ring’s artistic character and draws attention to the soft luster of the pearl.
The pearl itself has a smooth cabochon-like surface and a silvery-grey tone. The band tapers gently and merges seamlessly with the setting. Worn on the hand, the ring feels both refined and expressive.
Did you know that Princess Leia wore Björn Weckström's Planetary Valleys necklace, designed in 1969, in the first Star Wars film released in 1977?
