This vintage silver cuff bracelet, known as Darina’s Bracelet, has a bold yet refined design. The surface combines a bright and brushed finish, creating a subtle contrast that enhances its sculptural quality. At the center, a recessed, folded detail adds depth and an organic touch, breaking the symmetry of the form. The bracelet’s curved shape allows it to sit comfortably on the wrist while maintaining a strong visual presence.
On the wrist, it appears modern and understated, with the textured surface lending it a raw, artistic character. The interplay of soft contours and the sculpted indentation gives the piece a dynamic, tactile quality, making it both a statement accessory and an effortlessly wearable everyday cuff.
Darina’s Bracelet, along with the necklace Planetoid Valleys, gained international recognition in 1977 when it was featured in George Lucas’ Star Wars. The pieces were worn by Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) in the film’s final scene, as she awarded medals to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford). This iconic appearance cemented the bracelet’s status as one of Lapponia’s most renowned jewelry designs.
