Gunnar Fahlström moved from south of Sweden to Stockholm in the early 1900s. In 1930, he purchased a jewelry store in central Stockholm. Over time, after establishing himself in the industry and enduring the hardships of World War II, the economy slowly began to recover with the arrival of peace. In the 1950s, there was a strong demand in Sweden for items such as fine silverware. Business flourished, and Gunnar Fahlström opened two more jewelry stores in Stockholm.
In the 1970s, he handed over the keys and leadership to the second generation, who had inherited his expertise from an early age. In 1996, the third generation took over. Today, Royal Jeweler Gunnar Fahlström continues to craft fine jewelry with exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
