This 18k gold clock link is made out of eleven 18 karat gold square plates which are connected with each other. If you turn the clock link around you can see that each gold plate is stamped with several Swedish marks, for instance Wiwen Nilsson's responsibility mark (AN) and signature mark, the fine content mark and the year mark D9 (which tells us that the link was made 1954).
The vintage watch was made by the Swiss company Sandoz that was established in the late 19th century. It has a mechanical clockwork and the rectangular bezel is made of gilded steel whereas the dial is made of enamel. You set the time by pulling out and turning the crown.
This is a vintage watch with a rare vintage bracelet, perfect for all occasions!
