A vintage cuff bracelet in silver with a clean, sculptural form. The band is flat and evenly proportioned along most of its length, then gradually twists as it approaches the opening. The ends turn to a more upright angle and gently widen towards the opening, creating a graceful sense of movement and direction.
The open construction allows the cuff to sit lightly around the wrist while the angled ends create a strong, balanced silhouette. Its polished surface and restrained shape give it a distinctly modernist character. On the wrist it feels elegant, precise and quietly striking — easy to wear on its own, but strong enough to hold its place beside other silver jewellery.
Rey Urban opened his shop in Stockholm, Sweden in 1950 and through the years he made many international exhibitions, for example in Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, New York, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
