A pair of vintage earrings in silver. Each earring is formed from a long, slender wire that follows the curve of the ear and hooks gently over the top of the ear, ending in a small polished silver sphere. Below, an open flower rests against the earlobe. Its petals are made from narrow strips of silver, bent into soft loops and arranged in a full circular form. The slightly varied size and angle of the petals give the flowers movement and a clear handmade character.
Bold in scale but light in appearance, the earrings frame the ear in an unusual and flattering way. They have the playful confidence of 1960s design while feeling completely at home today. Wear them with a simple shirt, a fine knit or an evening dress — they do not need much company.
Each earring is slightly different in shape, as expected for this type of hand-formed design. The silver wires are intended to be gently adjusted so they follow the wearer's ear, creating a comfortable and personal fit.
